The haemoglobin mass spectrometry assay is used for the confirmation of Hb S, C, E, DPunjab, OArab, Lepore, G Philladelphia and Stanleyville. The panel includes the common and clinically significant haemoglobins.

Storage and transport: 
Samples should be stored refrigerated if not being transported immediately. Please send samples within 7 days of venepuncture. Samples may be transported at ambient temperature.
